Danilla's Campaign Story
Danilla was a member of ImaginePod's Fall 2024 Incubator, where a group of nonprofit leaders started their campaigns and won a prize donation from the ImaginePod Impact Fund and Kinship Earth when they launched.
We’re an all-volunteer nonprofit disaster resource center and would like to create a hired position eventually. We just moved into a new building and are raising money in an end-of-year campaign using the Givebutter platform.
This whole concept has been huge — it's so instrumental for people to see how much they’ve helped raise, and making edits is easy.
People can share their name or give anonymously, they can watch our video story, and their donation is matched by a generous community member. I love the goal meter, and if I get a check in hand I can go to my dashboard and manually put it in, then see the goal rise. I also like having immediate payouts to our bank account with a click.
And I went to post office today and collected another $5K for our campaign ... love it. Thanks for thinking of us Adriana and all you do to help others.

About the Co-Founders
Adriana Dakin (at left) and Abigail Ahoude (at right) co-founded the incubator with support from sponsors and partners to democratize access to fundraising knowledge and tools. ImaginePod amplifies the world's highest impact yet under-resourced visionary organizations, and building resources available to your cause and community is a cornerstone of this mission.
The duo have worked together since 2012 through their work with Fission Strategy and Do Big Things before founding ImaginePod in 2020. In addition to co-leading ImaginePod, Adriana works with the Community Foundation of Mendocino County as Strategy and Partnerships Specialist, and Abigail is Communications Director with Prime Coalition.
What does Adriana bring to the incubator? With expertise in fundraising and marketing from over two decades consulting to organizations within top agencies, Adriana also has a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, certification in the Transformational Mindset Facilitator method, and training in Positive Intelligence. She also brings experience in grant writing and grant reviewing through her work in a community foundation and with clients. Adriana's individual donor fundraising and foundation grant writing has helped bring in millions of dollars in funding for social and environmental causes.
